Today and tomorrow, 17th and 18th of May, is taking place the second edition of the F&A Next in one of the world’s most renowned food and agriculture universities: Wageningen University & Research in the Netherlands.
The event aims at bringing together high potential startups from the food and agricultural industry together with potential investors, serving as a springboard to foster collaborations between both parties. The event has been opened by Mrs. Louise Fresco, the Director of Wageningen University and Research, and has had the participation of the Dutch Minister of Agriculture.
Different interactive discussions are scheduled in the two-days agenda as well as this year, the event will host the Food Bytes pitching contest, where ten selected startups will have the chance to present their projects.
On its last 2016 edition, F&A Next gathered over 400 participants, including 150 startups, 70 corporates and more than 100 investors.
The numbers have grown for this second edition, positioning the event as a very relevant one in our sector, and consolidating the importance of the innovation in the agri-food sector.
