Collaborative projects are initiatives that require a minimum of three participants from three different EU Member States or from H2020 associated countries. There are two main types of collaborative projects:
Research and Innovation Actions (RIA)
Consist of activities aiming to establish new knowledge and/or to explore the feasibility of a new or improved technology, product, process, service or solution. For this purpose they may include basic and applied research, technology development and integration, testing and validation on a small-scale prototype. Funding rate 100%.
Innovation Actions (IA)
Have the objective to produce plans & designs for new, altered or improved products, processes or services. For this purpose they may include prototyping, testing, demonstrating, piloting, large-scale product validation and market replication. Funding rate 70%.
Since September 2016 in Innovarum we are part of GreenProtein project, which was evaluated with the highest possible mark, 15/15. This project deals with the “revalorisation of vegetable processing industry remnants into high-value functional proteins and other food ingredients” has been funded by the Bio Based Industries Joint Undertaking under the call VC3. D5-2015.
